Microneedling Aftercare Instructions

Post Treatment Skincare Routine

After your treatment you will be provided a post procedure kit to take home which will include all the necessary skincare products for your skin during the healing process.

Immediate Post-Care (First 24-72 hours)

Gentle Cleansing: Use a gentle cleanser with warm water and your fingers only, avoiding washcloths or brushes.
Hydration: Apply a hydrating serum, like Hyaluronic Acid, and a light, oil-free moisturizer.
Sun Protection: Avoid direct sun exposure and use a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher when outdoors.
No Makeup: Avoid wearing makeup for at least 24 hours after the treatment.
No Heat: Avoid saunas, steam rooms, and excessive exercise for at least 24 hours.

First Week Post care

Avoid Exfoliation: Refrain from using exfoliating products (like scrubs, AHAs, BHAs, or retinol) for at least 7-10 days.
No Waxing/Hair Removal: Avoid waxing or other hair removal methods on the treated area for at least a week.
No Harsh Products: Avoid products containing alcohol, fragrances, or other potential irritants.
Resume Skincare Gradually: Introduce your regular skincare routine slowly, starting with gentle products and gradually incorporating active ingredients

What to expect

Before the treatment consider a Hydrafacial or Dermaplaning if you haven't had a professional deep cleaning treatment in 2-3 months. Otherwise discontinue retinol and avoid sun exposure 3-7 days before the treatment.

During the treatment you will be numbed and will feel little to no discomfort.

After the treatment your skin will be red and might feel similar to a sunburn. Redness tends to go away by the following day. Traditional and RF Microneedling Intensive helps reduce wrinkles, scars, stretch marks, and sun damage such as age spots. It also improves skin tone and texture while refining and firming the skin.

How often

The overall effectiveness of the treatment can be observed 4 to 6 weeks after the procedure, depending on the number and intensity of treatments received. Of course, continuing the treatments on a regular basis increases the results, and alternating with other skin treatments is recommended for optimal and lasting results. We recommend 3-6 treatments depending on the condition of the skin.
