Spectra Melasma Laser Toning uses a powerful laser energy, laser toning reduces visible pigmentation by breaking down melanin molecules, allowing your immune system to remove them naturally. While laser toning was previously only useful for lighter skin tones, Spectra’s laser can treat pigmentation in all skin types.
Over the course of 8 – 10 sessions, a high-powered laser will be used to target areas of hyperpigmentation to break down the melanin molecules. Relatively painless, your skin may feel warm to touch and look a little flushed straight after the session, but this quickly resolves.
With no downtime, laser toning treatment can be easily scheduled into your lunch break – you can even reapply makeup straight after your treatment. Just remember to use sunscreen in between sessions to get the most benefit from your treatment.
